My DNA results have been back for some months now. However, my results mean nothing without
another/other male Clemons submitting for the DNA test. Especially, the James Clemmons/Clemens and William T. Clemons
lines of Decatur County, Indiana. How many years will it take for a brave soul to step forward..... I strongly
recommend the 37 marker test.

The 1840 Census for Decatur, County, Indiana lists Mag Mozingo [sic], the wife of Tandy/Landy Mozingo
not the wife of the missing Benjmain Mozingo family. However, did Tandy/Landy die before 1840 Census?
The two named daughters, I had previously listed for Benjamin Mozingo have been moved to Tandy/Landy
Mozingo [where they belong] based on Will data, matching presence, and birth data and agreement with the Mozingo
Family group site. Need to find Benjamin Mozingo, wife Margaret/Peggy in Mason County, KY tax lists and probate records [1840s] or
stray Mozingo children born in Kentucky in the 1820s.
Need to add Benjamin Mozingo to the 2d Generation Migration chart: Bourbon to Mason County, KY -
by 1840.
Added much tax info from Deb Coombs for Orange County,
Virginia; Bourbon and Harrison Counties, Kentucky.
Made necessary re-writes based on above new info.
However, I am still thinking about the Thomas Clements
listed on the Orange County, VA and Bourbon County, KY Tax Records. Is our Thomas older or is there a second Thomas,
a possible younger brother to elderly Henry, who could help explain who the father of young Henry [1820, 1832] could be?

Added William & Benjamin Martin [fourth generation
sons of Emeline Clemons Martin] to Decatur County, Indiana Research findings and migrations.
Added Bejamin Martin & Almerinda "Alice" Clemons'
marriage [first cousins] to the 1850 relationship connection page for Emeline to William Clemons of 1850 Harrison
County, Kentucky.
Added the following clarification paragraphs to: Stories
& Printed Histories, Pioneer Days as Related by William James Clemons:
[Clarification note: Perhaps it is true that William went to Jefferson County, Indiana in 1817.
However, he was not found on the 1820 Indiana Census Records or, for that matter, the Kentucky Census Records. He was,
however, fround again listed on the 1820 and 1821 Tax Records for Bourbon County, Kentucky. So perhaps, he was back
and forth between Indiana and Kentucky. I believe he permanently resided in Jefferson County, Indiana by 1821.]
Added in two places the following:
[Clarification note: Actually, by 1857, well-documented by land warrant certificates issued at that time
still existing today, William M. Clemons purchased at least 680 acres of that cheap surrounding government [public domain] land.]
Added the following paragaph to Jefferson & Decatur
Counties, Indiana for an additional clarification of William T.'s obituary:
c. I believe that the "Clemons Stand" mentioned
in the above obituary was actually in Marshall County, Iowa and had been established by William T.'s son, William Mathew Clemons.
Extracted from printed History of Clemons Grove, Marsahll County, Iowa: "... Within
a short time, the home was known as the “travelers inn” as many pioneers lodged overnight when traveling the only
stage coach trail West of Marietta. The home was considered a hotel and was known among travelers and teamsters as the
“Clemons Stand“. It was the first accommodations to be opened west of Marietta..."
Added the following paragraphs to Harrison County, Kentucky
and the War of 1812:
Records only exist as follows [no proof intended to
connect our family]. No entry for Mozingo found in Kentucky records.

Added the following paragraph to Harrison County research
for Thomas and Mary Mozingo Clemons:
Unfortunately, the known research avenues for Mary and Thomas' possible
additional daughter have been exhausted. I just got the marriage data [November 2006] for the Elizabeth Clemmons
/ Clemons to Emanuel Enges / Engles / Ingles for 7 June 1830 marriage in Harrison County. This was my only
lead. There are no other [of the 1833 - 1840 timeframe] female Clemons marriages in Harrison County to research.
It turns out Elizabeth was very likely a daughter of James Clements [of Benjamin Clements line]. He [her unnamed
father] was listed as deceased, mother [unnamed] not living in Kentucky, and Elizabeth had been under the care
of the John Brownfield family for at least 18 months. Other researchers have claimed from time-to-time that John
Brownfield raised some of James Clements children.
14 Nov 06:
Glen Downs [female] was found to
be the wife of Ira Jack Clemons, d. 1920, [of John F. Clemons], Decatur County, Indiana. Glen is a widow [her father
Charles, living with them] with children on the 1930 Census for Decatur County, Indiana.

Item Two:
I also noted that Thomas Clemons & Harriet Smith are
no longer listed in the LDS database.
Before 25 Oct 06
