Clements ---- Clemons ... DNA Project Information
Please seriously consider joining the Clement - Clemons DNA group [address link below].
Quote from the sign-up site:
"Most of the major known early Clements lines in VA and MD are represented in the project, most by two or more matching
participants. All of the early lines have been thoroughly researched by family members who have been working on their Clements
ancestry for years. The findings of their years of research have now been substantiated by DNA results. Just two of the major
early immigrant lines in VA and MD are not yet represented by multiple DNA participants. And we need more Northern lines to
be tested.
Only the Y chromosome is tested. You have 46 chromosomes. This test can NOT identify you."
The Y chromosome is passed from Father to Son.
So we need Clemons/Clements "Male" participation from our 2d Generation lines downward of William T., Thomas,
and James. Within the 2d Generation Thomas line we need separate tests for the 3d generation lines of: William, James, and
Thomas. So if we get the right six people tested our lineage would be covered. However, the more the merrier.
Please consider taking the test... I would but I am located in the Philippines and have a serious problem with dependable
mail delivery.
